We built a private, in-browser face shape scanner that uses machine learning (Google's MediaPipe) to analyse your facial geometry in real time. No photos are uploaded. No data leaves your device. The scan runs entirely in your browser and disappears the moment you close the tab.
From your face shape, we generate tailored recommendations: hairstyles that complement your proportions, beard styles that balance your geometry, and grooming products that make the cut work.

The scanner uses MediaPipe FaceMesh — a production-grade 468-point facial landmark model developed by Google. It identifies key measurement points on your face (forehead width, cheekbone width, jaw width, face length, chin angle) and classifies your shape using a weighted scoring algorithm across seven archetypes: oval, round, square, oblong, heart, diamond, and triangle.
We sample 50 frames for stability, correct for your camera's aspect ratio, and use positioning feedback to ensure you're aligned properly before the scan begins. The result includes a confidence percentage and the raw ratios so you can verify for yourself.
StijlScan is an independent project. We're a small team passionate about making personal styling accessible and private. No venture capital, no user data monetisation — just a useful tool with honest product recommendations.
