Measurement

Stand straight facing the camera, arms slightly away from your body, wear fitted clothing. Keep your full torso (shoulders to hips) in frame.

What this does: it tracks whether your shape is changing. A falling waist-to-hip ratio means your midsection is getting relatively slimmer. What it does not do: measure centimetres — a camera can't do that reliably without calibration. So always measure at the same distance, pose and lighting; then the trend is reliable.

Weight & BMI

Optional. Enter your height once, then just your weight each time.

BMI is a rough, population-level measure. It doesn't account for muscle mass, build or fat distribution, so for any individual it says little. Use the trend, not a single number.
